چکیده

Studying safety from a broad (or multilevel) perspective in daily operations is challenging prospect. The aim of this article, with the help case study, to contribute its development. In introduction, (multilevel) research introduced. This introduction indicates main authors who have produced past thirty forty years strong background against which one can build an idea challenge. It requires decipher real life situations interactions between technology, task, structure, culture, strategy and environment high-risk systems. An additional interest is, following insights gained literature, investigate importance strategic decision making such approach. A first section discusses methodological issues linked ethnographic research, presents methodology followed. second provides narrative study combines historical view plant, description some salient problems working practices production department, explanation these through organisational managerial perspective, complex patterns people plant analysis situation. last agenda explicitly incorporating importance, influence centrality powerful makers, without simplifying complexity issue.
